Tanzania Safari Tour for 16 Days

ITINERARY IN SUMMARY

Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport and stay in an Arusha hotel.

Day 2: Travel to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive in the evening.

Day 3: Manyara National Park game drive.

Move to Serengeti National Park on Day 4.

Day 5: A full day of game viewing in the Serengeti plains.

Day 6: Additional day of game viewing in the Serengeti plains.

Day 7: Transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crator.

Day 8: Full-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Drive to the Maramboi Wildlife Conservation Area on Day 9

Day ten: Tarangire National Park – Evening game drive

Day 11: A full day of game viewing in Tarangire.

Day 12: Return to your hotel in Arusha.

Day 13 – Day 15: Stay on the beach in Zanzibar.

Day 16: Departure at Zanzibar Airport is scheduled.

 

ITINERARY IN DETAIL:

Day 1: Pick up at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha.

It is determined by your arrival time and flight number. At the airport, meet and greet the driver-guide.

Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Arusha. and just a briefing on the next day’s schedule

 

Day 2: Travel to the national park of Lake Manyara. Afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park.

As you drive deeper into the park, you’ll see groups of anubis baboons and sykes monkeys playing along the fence. Bushbucks will emerge out of the forest, and you may come across an elephant on the lane. Elephants also use the road to avoid having to pass through dense bush. Care to look up once in a while as well. Like in Tarangire, lions can be found in the trees at times, and there are a lot of leopards in this region (though you have to be lucky to spot them). If the big cats can’t be seen in the forest, there are plenty of birds to see. Dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge reserved.

 

Day 3: Game drive in Manyara National Park, including a visit to the hot springs.

After breakfast, you’ll go on an early morning game drive to see animals such as leopards, lions, hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs, giraffes, baboons, zebras, blue monkeys, dik-dik, gazelle, and hippos, as well as birds such as pelicans, cormorants, storks, Flamingos, and cormorants. After lunch, you can go on a cultural tour, go canoeing, or take a group stroll. Dinner and a night’s stay at the cabin.

 

Move to Serengeti National Park on Day 4.

After breakfast, drive from Manyara to Serengeti National Park. Take a break for lunch on the way. After lunch, you will be taken to the park for a game drive. as you make your way to the reserved lodge

 

Day 5: Full-day game drive with picnic lunches.
Early morning game drive to see nocturnal animals returning from hunting and lions awaking in the dawn. During the game drive, you may see buffalos, elephants, giraffes, elands, topi, kongoni, impala, Zebras, lion, Solitary leopards near Seronera River, cheetahs, hyena, aardwolf, serval cat, Gaudy agama lizards and Aside from the wildlife, you could see ostriches, bizarre secretary birds, black eagles, and acacia woodland secretary birds, Kori bustards, crowned cranes, marabou storks, martial eagles, and lovebirds. Return to the lodge for lunch, and then relax at the lodge in the evening.

 

Day 6: An extra day of game viewing with packed picnic lunches.
Early morning game drive to see nocturnal animals returning from hunting and lions awaking in the dawn. During the game drive, you may see buffalos, elephants, giraffes, elands, topi, kongoni, impala, Zebras, lion, Solitary leopards near Seronera River, cheetahs, hyena, aardwolf, serval cat, Gaudy agama lizards and Aside from the wildlife, you could see ostriches, bizarre secretary birds, black eagles, and acacia woodland secretary birds, Kori bustards, crowned cranes, marabou storks, martial eagles, and lovebirds. Move to Ngorongoro Crater on Day 7.
After breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater. After arriving, you can have lunch before going on an afternoon game drive to the crater. Ngorongoro National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Ngorongoro District, and it contains the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. It was formerly a part of the Serengeti National Park. Over 500 bird species and 25,000 large animals live in the montane forest, grassland, and bush land with bussei trees, open grassland, wood land, Munge Stream, Lerai Stream, Ngoitokitok Spring, and several other small springs on the crater floor.

 

 

Day 8: Full-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area

On the game drive, you might see cheetahs, lions, black rhinoceros, hippopotamuses, wildebeest, zebras, elands, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles, leopards, elephants, mountain reedbuck, and buffalo, wildebeest, hartebeest, waterbuck, warthog, hyena, and jackals. Baboons and vervet monkeys are primates. During the game drive, you can see ostriches, bizarre secretary birds, black eagles, secretary birds, Kori bustards, crowned cranes, marabou storks, martial eagles, lovebirds, bustards and plovers, European migrants from November to May include White Storks, swallows, Yellow Wagtails, Stonechat, Schalow’s Wheatear, Anteater Chat, Fiscal Shrike, Augur Buzz

 

 

Day 9: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Maramboi Wildlife Management Area.

This will allow you to explore Lake Manyara.

Maramboi Lodge provides dinner and an overnight stay.

 

Day 10: Travel to Tarangire National Park for a game drive in the evening.
You will depart for Tarangire National Park after breakfast. Over 500 bird species and other animals live in the park’s acacia and mixed forest plants, baobab trees and old palms, black cotton grass Baobab trees, thick bush, and high grasses.
On arrival, you will go on a game drive where you will see animals such as wildebeest, elephants, zebras, and hartebeest, giraffes, Impala, Eland, lesser kudu, waterbuck, gazelle rhinos, leopards, giant pythons, Thompson’s gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, cheetah, oryx, and generuk, tree climbing lions, birds such as Kori bus Dinner and a night’s stay at the cabin.

 

Day 11: Tarangire game drive.

You will depart for Tarangire National Park after breakfast. Over 500 bird species and other animals live in the park’s acacia and mixed forest plants, baobab trees and old palms, black cotton grass Baobab trees, thick bush, and high grasses.
On arrival, you will go on a game drive where you will see animals such as wildebeest, elephants, zebras, and hartebeest, giraffes, Impala, Eland, lesser kudu, waterbuck, gazelle rhinos, leopards, giant pythons, Thompson’s gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, cheetah, oryx, and generuk, tree climbing lions, birds such as Kori bus Dinner and a night’s stay at the lodge

 

Day 12: Move from Tarangire to Arusha.
Breakfast, followed by a drive back to Arusha.

 

Staying at Zanzibar Beach from Day 13 to Day 15.

 

Day 16: Planned departure from Zanzibar Airport.
This is the end of the sentence.

    Best time to visit Tanzania

    Tanzania is open all-year-long, the best wildlife viewing months in Tanzania are during the Dry season from late June to October.

    Make sure you plan ahead if seeing the wildebeest migration is the main reason for your journey.

    The best time to see the Serengeti migration is from June to September, but you’ll have to stay in various parts of the park at different times of the migration.

    Must know before Traveling

    June to October –Dry Season. Wildlife is easier to spot.

    July to October are the best months to see the wildebeest migration It gets very busy and crowded in the most popular parks.

    November to May –Wet Season

    The scenery is beautiful and green Rates drop because it’s the low season.
